110/80: I doubt blood pressure is the cause of chest pain.
You MUST have someone take you to the nearest Emergency facility.
Hard for me to know the outcome but I would appreciate hearing  from your Emergency doctor!

BP less that 120/90: No worries probably.

I specialize in HTN. First need to know if the BP device is accurate on you? Take to Dr and let them check.

If pregnant then 90 is too high.See your Dr.

Possibly: I see you are on synthroid (thyroxine). You may need your thyroid level checked. Also, if your anxiety (on xanax) is not controlled, that can result in a fast heartbeat. Generally, this may cause problems in the future so you should get it checked out.

Accepted Answer

Normal: Blood pressure is not static. It varies dependent on the activity you are doing. It may go even higher if you are doing something strenuous. I would not be concerned about the #s you presented.

Well: That doesn't sound right unless the arteries are relaxing too much from dose, that could lead to light headiness. Its important you talk to your doctor about if is due to too much diuretic or to high of a dose on the BP medication.

i have noted that my last 200 readings of blood pressure are all below 120 for systolic and below 80 for dystolic avg 110/70 should i consider reducing meds or stop taking meds and see if the numbers are still same?

: I would sit tight with your current medical regimen if your average BP is 110/70 unless you're experiencing symptoms of lightheadedness, fatigue or shortness of breath with exertion.

i am 68 years i am puzzled by my blood pressure readings. my dystolic is very regular & low, 80% of the time between 67 and 72; but my systolic is all over the place, averaging at 132 but sometimes up to 160 sometimes down to 110. why?

: Blood pressure will change moment to moment depending on your activity levels, hydration state, level of stress, time of day, state of arousal, and general health. The method used and the measuring device is critical for an accurate reading. A doppler electronic device attached to a large wide cuff on your upper arm is ideal. For medical purposes the lowest pressure of the day is all that matters.

May not be a BEST: While 120/80 was always the goal, the jury is still out on the best.  Some thought is the lower the better, as long as a person feels ok. Obviously a blood pressure of 70/40 is way too low. I like to keep my patients in the 110/70 range.

Check again: Do you have a home BP kit? If not, get one. Check to get the correct cuff size. Record blood pressures several times a day, record these, and see a DR more than a few over 120/80. You omitted anything else about yourself. Alcohol? Meds? Family history.
