Cervical pap smear: The cervical pap smear has evolved its' technology to  determine the presence of  HPV and is accurate as testing goes. There is always a percentage of error in any test that is done.

Depends: You must look for STD's using the proper sampling method for each. There are diseases commonly known as STD's that can be found a variety of ways. There are at least a dozen infectious diseases that can pass sexually, but are not labeled as STD's. If you are worried about a specific one or more, be sure to specify that to the doc doing the testing so they can do appropriate studies.

if a girl has sex with a hsv2 positive guy, will it show up in blood work or pap smear 4 months later if she's never had any symptoms?

Maybe: If a woman has sex with someone who's hsv positive, it's not 100% that she will become positive herself. The partner has to be shedding virus in order for woman to be infected. It's possible to have exposure and antibodies to virus and never have had an outbreak. Hope that helps!

i bleed only during sexual intercourse. ive had an ultrasound, blood test and pap smear and all were normal and negative. i also had meds to clean out uterus. intercourse is never painful or forced. should i see a different doctor?

: Bleeding after sex can be from inflammation of the cervix (cervicitis). Presumably you had a pelvic exam with visualization of the cervix, and STD testing (especially gonorrhea and chlamydia, possible causes in women at risk for STD). "Meds to clean out uterus" suggests infection was suspected (?). Keep working with your doctor; it should be possible to learn the cause of the bleeding.

Maybe STD issues?: Pap smears look for hpv changes on the cervix. Hpv is a very common std. If the pap was abnormal, it would be appropriate to look for other stds, some of which can be tested with a blood test, like hiv, herpes, hepatitis, syphilis. Hormonal: fluctuations: both female and thyroid as well as metabolic issues can cause these changes. Consult your GYN for further testing

: There are many causes for burning in vaginal area and rectum. If 'tests' are normal pl. ask your MD what he/she suspects and reason for any biopsy

Ovulatory bleeding: some women have bleeding with ovulation (that is the process that releases egg from the ovary). Have you tried birth control pills. they may help
