Pain, bleeding: An ulcer causes severe stomach pain, nausea, vomiting and GI bleeding. Diarrhea and bloating are not symptoms of ulcers. Please see your doctor and be checked.

Start a food diary: Though it is time consuming, you may wish to start a food diary. Begin with simple foods (only!) to which you KNOW you don’t react. Then add a new food ever 3 or 4 days and watch for an allergic reaction. Note on paper or smart phone (there’s a food allergy app for this) no, mild, or bad reaction. This takes time and diligence, but you should be able to find out which foods to avoid.

See physician: It is advised that seeking evaluation by a physician for physical exam, labs and stool studies is appropriate.  The most critical therapy in diarrheal illness is hydration, preferably by the oral route with solutions that contain water, salt, and sugar.  If you have been unable to maintain adequate oral or liquid intake during this time you should seek urgent evaluation.
