Probably not: If you just had your period, you are probably not pregnant. If you're feeling abdominal pain, nausea, and have vaginal discharge, you might have a pelvic infection. You should see a gynecologist or family practice physician to get appropriate treatment and contraception.

This presumes that your later period was normal.  If it was not, you might need a test.

Not a symptom: Of pregnancy and you have to be several months pregnant for a baby bump to start showing. See your doctor for an evaluation to look for the cause.

Bloating: You definitely could be pregnant. Or this could be menstrual-related symptoms still. If you did conceive on 12/22/15 then a urine pregnancy test should be positive by now (can take 14 days to turn positive).

Hard to tell: It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly. One can test about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. An Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate any persistent or worrisome symptoms.

Hard to tell...: A woman who takes birth control pills properly, still has a small chance of getting pregnant.  She can do a urine pregnancy test if worried about pregnancy, or can see her doctor to ask about the symptoms she is having.

Trust the test : Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. Sounds like just a late period.
