Oral ulcers ?: Canker sores can cause what you describe. The ulcers are painful, with no known cause, but are associated with nutritional and vitamins deficiencies.  See your physician for an exam and a recommendation for a diet change.

Herpes Simplex I: is the most common virus causing painful vesicular lesions in the mouth.  There are a number of other viruses which are less common along with autoimmune diseases such as Bechet's syndrome which is cell mediated and not an infectious issue.  A visit to your PCP and a viral culture of a new vesicle along with a serologic workup for immune mediated diseases would be helpful.

Palatal ulcer: How long have you had it? Perhaps it's from an abrasion from hard food? Try salt water rinses or any number of over the counter medications at a local drug store or supermarket if available. Avoid hot and spicy foods. If you want faster relief or if it doesn't go away in two weeks you will have to see a local dentist or physician for a diagnosis and treatment if necessary and appropriate.

Herpes in the mouth: Well depending on 'what happened' recently I would include herpes as a possibility. Herpes ulcers generally form at the site where they invaded. If you had receptive oral sex, then in theory it would be possible. The best way to find out is to see an ID doctor who could take a culture to prove or disprove this theory. There are other causes for an ulcer back there, so I do recommend getting seen.

Yeast infection: Herpes does not spread. It us a cluster of very painful blisters. You have a yeast infection. You have already been told this. If you do not believe  the doctors here please go have the rash examined by your physician in person.

Contact point: It will usually be near the contact point but body fluids with the hsv virus in it can infect your skin in surrounding areas.  Most guys will have herpes at the base the penis so women will commonly see out breaks on their labia. If treated within 2-3 days you might reduce symptoms. But get diagnosed first to see if it is herpes or something else.

Sounds like it: This definitely fits the description for herpes.  A viral culture is the definitive test, but if i were you i would see doctor today and get started on some Acyclovir so you can help stem the outbreak and get tested at the same time. If culture comes back negative, then you can stop the drug, but at least you're starting to protect yourself.  Be sure to discuss with any relevant partners too, .

Watch it: It could be anything from your first episode of herpes labialis to a minor forgotten injury to a plugged duct of a lip gland. "nutritional deficiency" is unlikely -- this kind of idea comes mostly from the shadow-world of overpriced vitamin ads. However, if it's painful cracks at the corners of your mouth, this may indeed be iron or (less likely) vitamin deficiency. Good luck & thanks for asking.
