how much does bleaching affect a hair analysis test? i wanted to know in detail how tremendously bleach affects hair analysis testing and can it remove the apparent drug and it metabolites from the hair shaft.

Accepted Answer

Bleaching : Bleaching and other hair treatments such as dying or straightening do not remove drug metabolites from the hair shaft.  It will not help you pass a drug test.

Accepted Answer

No: Bleaching only effects the outside of the hair, and the drugs accumulate within the shaft.  There is nothing that washing or other treatments will do that will interfere, to my knowledge, with hair drug testing. You should ask the last part of your question separately, since it got cut off.

if you drink one time and have an etg test come up two months after you drank, will you fail an etg hair follicle test? im getting alot of diff answrs

ETG is a urine test: ETG is not done on hair but on urine. It is usually not positive five days after the last drink.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

will perming your hair twice before a hair strand test for alcohol remove etg? i have had 2/3 binges over 3 months.

I wouldn't: "depend" upon it!!! The Perm may break the sulfhydryl bonds (Sulphur containing bonds holding the protein "together" ((THUS the "rotten egg" smell when the Perm is happeninv) but there is no reason to expect the follicles will "loose" alcohol/drug deposits!
Best bet......stop the binges..admit you have a problem..and get help!

Bleaching Cream: I have never known of anyone growing more hair. All it does is bleach the existing hair, so it would not do anything to stimulate new hair to grow. Shaving or hair removal methods actually can stimulate new hair to grow. The worst that bleach cream can do is irritate the skin if left on too long, so follow the instructions carefully.

Will be visible: The color started reappearing the day after you bleached. Check the base of the hair and you will see the natural color. Depending on the rate of growth of your hair and how long you keep your facial hair the time for full return to original color may take weeks to months.

hello!i over-bleached my eyebrows and they got burned.and hair that left in is kind of damaged.will my eybrows grow back normally?

Accepted Answer

Yes: It would be very unlikely for a chemical burn from a hair lightener to go deep enough to damage the follicles.  So yes, eventually your eyebrows will grow back normally, but for eyebrows this takes a very long time.  It can take a year or longer to fully regrow eyebrows, so be patient.

1 year ago a bleached my entire head and am also on acutane 5mg my hair thinned out to half over 2014 til now why? how can i get it back?!

Depends: Multiple factors may be contributing to your thin hair. 1. Bleach 2. Hair loss or thinning can be a side effect of Isotretinoin.  I would discuss your concerns with the Doctor giving you the Accutane. You may have to wait until you have finished the Accutane cycles to perceive good results. For now avoid bleaching hair, moisturize hair. Proper nutrition, exercise stress reduction
