Depends on severity: Bladder distention is the most common treatment for interstitial cystitis and is sometimes, but not always, effective. It involves filling and distending the bladder with fluid while under anesthesia. Bladder augmentation is a surgical procedure and is used only in the most severe cases. Research and discuss augmentation thoroughly before considering it. Medication is also effective sometimes.

Not uric acid: Uric acid does not cause interstitial cystitis. Fortunately, several techniques have been developed to help patients with this painful condition.

Discuss with doctor: The individual performing endoscopy is the person to discuss the nature of the testing  they plan to perform.  I am not aware of anybody who examines for the presence of spirochaetes in the bladder, although if you insist upon this there are specialty labs which may perform this.  It is not by any means a standard test, nor is it likely to be of any benefit in the management of your condition.

what is the likelihood of botox treatment helping frequency urgency syndrome after meds/stretching bladder didn't help and possible catheters after?

There is a: "REASONABLE" chance that Botox can be useful in cases of irritable bladder&gt; Make sure you are consulting a PHYSICIAN who has had EXPERIENCE with the use of Botulism Toxin!

Possible hernia: I recommend an exam by a general surgeon to see if a small hernia is causing the discomfort.

Not enough info: Since you're concerned, it's best to discuss this w/your FamilyDoc, GYN or Urologist who did bladder stretch. While a procedure performed as an infant is unlikely to cause future bladder issues, I suppose that the reason for the procedure could cause problems later on. Because we don't have enough info, it's best that you address this w/your doctors.

No: Having urinary frequency may be caused from an anatomically small bladder from various causes such as radiation. However, the majority of cases are from outflow obstruction to urine or from inflammation. The treatment is medical therapy after a negtaive evaluation has been performed.

Yes: Yes, holding your urine a little longer each time can help retrain the bladder for certain types of urinary urgency. At times training your bladder to a specific voiding schedule is helpful also.

Cystoscopy&amp;Streching: You have to ask this question to your doctor.I will say it is Cystoscopy and streching the bladder.They use a scope called cystoscope and they fill up the urinary bladder with water to its maximum capacity to distend(strech) the bladder to its maximum capacity

why my bladder hurts when i bend over and when i stretch. the ultrasound did not show anything. i don't have symptoms of prostatitis. the only thing is that sometimes i have coccyx pain. what can it be?

: It could be pain referred from lower back(Coccyx) to front ( lower abdomen area. If it persists pl get examined by your MD .
