Several reasons: Pressure comes if you wait too long to pass urine.  Also, not drinking enough water.  A prolapse of the bladder or uterus can cause pressure.  Just having a UTI causes the sensation you have to go when you don't.

: A sense of urgency can be from a hyper sensitive bladder, or the challanges of closing the sphincter ( outlet muscle which tightens like a ring to prevent leakage) when standing.  Smoking and some foods can  also affect urination.  A follow-up for your history of cystitis is needed.  Your Urologist can tell alot with urinalysis and ultrasound, please follow-up.

: It is highly unlikely that bladder is prolapsed. A prolapsed uterus is not an emergency, and you should contact your doctor for an evaluation.

Bladder Pain: You require to see an Urologist, he will do a cystoscopy, an MRI, of the pelvis, an iv IVP.

The pain may or not come from the bladder.

Rule out UTI: Suggest you see a uro-gynecologist or urologist if urinalysis demonstrates no infection. This could be a cystocele, rectocele or partial bladder or uterine prolapse.

Bladder spasm: Sometimes a bladder spasm, like a muscle cramp, occurs in the bladder after it is emptied.  It may mean that you delayed urination for a while causing the bladder to stretch, then contract more strongly after emptying.
Since it occurs infrequently, no treatment is indicated, but following an old urology professor's recommendation--"never pass a water fountain or bathroom without using it!"
