Retin-A, B.P.: There's nothing "unnatural" about Retin-A (a derivative of vitamin A) and benzoyl peroxide, which have yielded consistently excellent results for many years. A dermatologist will prescribe the combination that works best for you. Don't waste your money on "natural supplements"; they don't work, and will only delay resolution. Trust me, i've been treating acne for 30 years.

Patience. Not quick.: Blackheads are open comedones, which are part of an acne rash. Open means there is no skin covering the pore, which means during a "facial", the aesthetician can more easily get some of the blackheads out. If Differin (adapalene) is not working, one may try a different dosing or try a different retinoid. A dermatologist can help.. Freckles are a different story, and are a natural color change as skin ages...

Comedone extractor: Wash face w gentle cleanser 2x/day ; use oil free products. No oily hair or heavy foundations. Try not to pop pimples. Avoid touching face (cradling chin in hands). Remove makeup before bed. Shower after strenuous exercise. Consider otc products (salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide).  Retinoids/ comedone extractor can be helpful for black heads. If &gt; mild acne see dermatology.

Products: They make a lot of cosmetic products now designed to try to minimize the appearance of pores.  Microdermabrasion treatments may help. Also, your dermatologist may have some treatments involving lasers or chemical peels that may be able to help minimize the appearance of pores.

Can try a "facial": Because it takes a certain amount of practice to remove comedones from the pores, using the comedone extractor tools, one can try a facial. One can ask friends or relatives about which persons (at salons or dermatologists' clinics) are talented at facials. Diy is ok if one is good at it, but otherwise may cause more scarring or discoloration.

That's silly: Do yourself a favor -- get a topical retinoic acid derivative and use this instead. It'll help whether or not you have acne.

Depends: If your dark circles are caused by chronic nasal congestion, controlling the nasal congestion will likely help.   If this is an inherited feature, a cosmetic surgeon may help.
