Unlikely: dark blood signifies old blood while fresh blood appears more red. As long as the bleeding is not heavy, its ok. The color shouldnt be an issue.

Menstrual color: Black generally means very old blood, the odor may be something unrelated and since you have pain I would get seen. My concern would be an infection
