why is it ive had bad habits all my life like nose picking and biting my nails but i dont so much as get a cold and never get the flu and have never gotten covid,so why dont i get sick when others have better habits and get sick? i do take vitamins?

Infestation: Your greatest concern is the size of your infestations.  Roaches don't typically bite except in large infestations your risk from the bite is minimal.

can cheek biting be caused by a fixed bridge?

Check occlusion: If you have a recent restoration replacing a long missing tooth, it may take awhile for your soft tissues to accommodate to the new restoration.,  please see your dentist to check occlusion.  In the meantime, take Ibuprofen and rinse with salt water to reduce swelling.

my two year old keeps waking up screaming saying something is biting her leg and foot between 4and 6 am but nothing is there.

Look closer: Strip the bed and turn over the mattress and make sure there are no insects or bed bugs or spiders that may come and go before you see them. Does she have a bite on her foot? Anything that itches?
Also consider bringing her to your bed at 345 for a night...And if it still happens then see may be dreaming it...

what will happen if biting down on your upper lip, making the nose (cartilage) go down? will the cartilage be damaged? if so what are the clues?

Ok: Cartilage is very flexible so you take a lot of biting down the lip to damage it. With that being said good luck.

twice now have had a momentary sharp biting/stinging sensation on the skin of my nose. should i be concerned? also been having dizzy spells this month

Possibly yes.: The nerve distribution is in the ophthalmic branch of the trigeminal nerve. You can get these type of sensations from something called trigeminal neuralgia. It means the nerve gets irritated.
If it gets worse or more frequent you can go to your doctor and get something to help calm down nerve rotation.

i am a dentist ask about problem of tongue biting while speaking after bridge construction in molar area. may it due to improper closing (open bite)?

Possibly: It could be your bite, the contour of your new bridge, or simply getting used to the new situation. Either way, see your dentist.

dentists;i had an upper back 3 tooth dental  bridge fitted and 4 hours later if  touch it with tongue it moves slightly to side and up biting, normal?

Return: Please return to your Dentist for reevaluation.  Fixed bridge should feel stable.  Removable or semi-removable restoration may show some movement.  You will have to be seen to be evaluated.  It's probably a simple adjustment.

hi our 4 mnth old german shephard pup is in a biting phase, bit my daughter twice. on her hand and foot skin grazed but bleeding a wee bit. should we get a tetanus shot for her ?

Depends: Most young kids are well protected from tetanus with the regular shots they get in infancy and childhood. (DtaP) If she has had her regular scheduled shots and the last DtaP was within 5 years there is no need for another.

my son is 3 months old and has been sick for a little over a week now. his symptoms include sneezing, sniffling, runny nose, and bloody mucous. he also doesn't sleep as much anymore and is constantly biting/sucking on his fingers.

Bloody mucous: Please bring him to your pediatrician ASAP. Bloody mucous is unusual in a 3 month old, although a humidifier may help if it is dry mucous membranes. If running a fever, be seen tonight at urgent care for this little one who is more susceptible to infections right now. An antibiotic may be needed and a doctor needs to look at the bloody mucous. A bean in the nostril would take another child/person.
