Seroconversion: The "window period" is inherently tied to the bodies ability to mount an immune response to HIV.  The tests are looking for antibodies to HIV's GP shell.  After 6 months time, 99% of people exposed to HIV will have serosconverted.  There are other testing modalities..HIV RNA/DNA PCR for example.  Branched RNA is another excellent modality.  These will show infection virtually immediately.

Briefly reading: from the company website. They say FDA approved, would should require an appropriate levels of confidence. Flu vaccine could affect interpretation for 90 days, so take flu vaccine and wait 90 days, or test prior to vaccine. Discuss with your doctor as well.

what are the testing options for herpes 2?  i've read about igg and igm, with questions around the reliability of igm antibody testing.  how soon can tests be performed?  i'm at 32 days post potential exposure, no outbreaks, but wondering if exposed?

Herpes: All these tests are within the 90th percentile in accuracy and can be done probably after 72 hours of exposure. Good Luck

angina: A nuclear perfusion test in the right lab can reliably indicate whether abnormal myocardial perfusion is present. Angina pectoris is a symptom of abnormal myocardial perfusion. A positive perfusion study in a good lab has greater than 90% specificity and a negative test slightly less. Some labs are not as good as others as with any study.

: You should be fine with that negative fourth generation HIV test at 130 days post exposure. Screening for Hep C infection is recommended if you think you are at risk with previously unsafe sexual encounters.

Not really: There is always some uncertainty in medicine. And sometimes, the experts treat with the same rationale.  I.E empiric ttament to see if indeed the diagnosis.

Several things: The bleeding could be your period coming on, meaning that you are not pregnant. However, that is not always the case so make sure you follow your re's instructions concering your meds and   bloodwork.

i had 2x5day old frozen embryos transferred. i did a beta test at 12 days post transfer. my beta count is 126.is this too low for possible multiples?

Too early : It is too early to draw any conclusions with only this information. Your IVF doctor will likely want to follow you BHCG levels to make sure they are rising normally. Eventually they will be able to check the pregnancy by sonogram. At that point they will know if there are one or two.
