Ibuprofen: Although any medication we take can have untoward reactions ,my experience would be that it is fine to take with the atenolol

No: Metoprolol is a good drug for controlling both BP and cardiac arrhythmia.  The PVC could be due to the other drugs you're taking, and OTC meds used for seasonal allergies esp. those with decongestants coupled with anxiety.

Side effects: The reason it's recommended to take it at night is that if unwanted side effects happen such as dizziness....you'll be asleep and less likely to notice.

They will help you decrease the chances of high blood pressure-induced damage to your organs. Atenolol is  generally safe, affordable and well tolerated

Atenolol withdrawal: It takes at least 5 days to withdraw from atenolol.  In general withdrawal should be done gradually and in step fashion.  If the doses are high, such as 100 mg, then I believe that withdrawal should take longer, tapering 25 mg every 5 days. Thus total withdrawal would take 15 days.

Before: If you are taking atenolol for an increased heart rate, it would probably be better to take your morning dose before rather than after your morning exercise.  Don't hesitate to check with your medical doctor.
