Commercial flavor choices: cherry, orange, wild berry, lemon-lime, pineapple, or no flavor added.

Prepopik: is relatively NEW but is approved by FDA for colonoscopy prep in adults HOWEVER COLONOSCOPISTS  (Doctors who do the tests ) HAVE THEIR OWN PREFERENCES FOR WHICH PREP IS USED!

Here are some...: Colonoscopy can usually &amp; safely be done under brief IV sedation, but can be deferred until severe electrolyte imbalance+heart disease are optimally corrected because colonoscopy oftentimes is non-urgent and even optional esp. at the time with serious ongoing medical issues. So, ask the treating doc so to understand the balance between medical necessity &amp; professional possibility before proceeding

Maybe: Unlikely,there are many things that can cause localized redness and edema besides inflammatory disease such as crohns.Best to discuss with Gastroenterologist about what was seen.

I wouldn't: Just take your time and drink the bowel prep -- it is very important to be cleaned out for the test.  Try chewing gum in between glasses of the prep as this will take away the nasty aftertaste.  Any medicine you take during the prep will likely be washed away

Some preps: Are more difficult or time consuming, which caues non-compliance, or result in more electrolyte abnormalities, such as low potassium.  But you are right, once the prep is complete and the end result is satisfactory, then the choice of prep is not even relevant.
