Get real Rx: If over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide has not worked for you, then you need to get with your physician for some prescription-strength treatment -- a topical vitamin a analogue, topical clindamycin, a systemic antibiotic, or maybe something stronger. Acne scar: Unfortunately there's no magic cream to completely and consistently remove acne scars.  Sometimes laser treatment by dermatologists can help with the acne scaring.  Usually they offer free consultations (the laser treatments aren't covered by insurance, however), and they can tell you if you're acne spot would be helped by laser.

Isotretinoin: Better late than never. Cystic acne won't be cleared by antibiotics. It's not for the faint-hearted but it's probably  what you need. The internet is full of scare stories but the fast majority of folks with cystic acne are glad after they've done it.

Acne scars may…: respond to vitamin A products (for minor imperfections) but a dermatologist may be needed for more severe defects (such as from cysts). Derm docs have a whole arsenal of ways to treat acne scars: chemical peels, dermabrasion, lasers, Botox, collagen fillers. If your acne is still active, get checked for polycystic ovary ds (increases male hormone which worsens acne) &amp; see dermatologist

: I cannot find Biocoten in Drugs.com.   Would not use it for anything esp if an supplement or natural product. Check with other girls your age with Acne and see what their experience has been. Better yet see a Dermatologist for proper Diagnosis and Treatment. Best treatment depends on what is causing the acne problem in the first place.
