i keep mixing and taking too many pills(opiates, benzos, alcohol&more) because it's dangerous.it's not a suicide attempt i just don't know what it is?

Misusing: If you continue to do this - you may die. Firstly - do not let these medications stay in the home. Secondly - get help you have a problem.

if benzos & alcohol have same function then why do i feel much better in terms of calmness/positive thinking after drinking alcohol than taking any dose of benzos? if alcohol & benzos are same then why alcohol is freely available but benzos r not?

: Alcohol has been around for too many years to do much about it and has ruined the health of many millions of people in the world. If you're drinking alcohol in order to keep calm or positive in attitude, dangerous dependency is a real threat. It's actually a depressant. One drink a day could be enjoyable &amp; reasonable.  Benzodiazepines(tranquilizers) can also be abused but at least are regulated.

Benzodiazepines: Yes they will return to normal after cessation of use. You build a tolerance to both or one or the other if you don't use them simultaneously. You shouldn't be mixing alcohol with benzodiazepines or narcotics.

See below: There is no GABA in alcohol or benzos but rather these substances stimulate the GABA a receptor in the brain.  I don't know what GABA you ate getting over the counter but out does not very into the brain in any real way.

i have severe anxiety nd been on several meds.im a recovering alcoholic nd doctors will not give me benzos bcuz there afraid of me relapsing w/ alcohol. i've tried buspar nd tons of others like it that arent addicting but they don't help at all. my anxiet

Work with doctors: Work with your doctors to find safe ways to reduce your anxiety. Non-medical psychotherapeutic techniques are often useful, but they take practice over time. Benzodiazepines increase the risk of relapse into alcohol dependence. Be sure to work with a 12 step program to maintain your sobriety. Have a sponsor. When you are ready, sponsor others.

No: nice try  though. may help ETOH withdrawal seizures. If any one has seizures should see a neurologist for treatment and management not imbibe alcohol

Yes: That is why some alcoholics need to keep there BAL at a certain level to prevent seizure activity.
