Needs further evalua: This person should see a Medical doctor(Internist) or a specialist(like a Hematologist) to sort out the cause of her anemia and low platelet count.
I would recommend a repeat CBC, Differential count and platelet count be done and send us those results. If the numbers are same or lower, then she must get a medical check up and rule out a Bone marrow disorder/Blood disorder

Stop worrying : It's the cells that are small, not the tumors. Incipient lung cancers may be there but they're not making you sick yet. Do you have Addison's? Gluten enteropathy? Any of dozens of others? Worrying accomplishes nothing. Rechannek that energy into smoking cessation, exercising, and/or continuing your work up as applicable. Best wishes.

i had a ct scan because i thought i had a seizure nothing showed up on the scan is it possible they missed a tumor? i have apathy, tired, weight loss

Possible: For tumor identification, a CT scan or an MRI with contrast should be done. Was your scan done with contrast? If it was with contrast and still negative, you should follow up with an EEG - if abnormal you should then get an MRI. With your symptoms, certain labs may provide information as well. Please be sure to get a referral for a neurologist for further workup.

would you operate on a 85 yr man with chf ,for tumor w/cancer in sigmoid colon, 80 pd weight loss,bad ekg too,worried he won't make it, what chance?

Here are 2 options: Surgery can be done on 85 year olds depending on their cardio-pulmonary reserve. If his heart failure is well controlled and his Ejection fraction is &gt; 40% then surgery may be safe. Alternatively, Primary chemotherapy can shrink localized Colon cancer. Go seek a consultation with a medical oncologist. You may need 2 opinions from medical oncologists and select one who has used chemo in old patient

35 yr old has inflamed uterus and elevated prolactin and cortisol levels.  weight loss and headaches.  ct scan doesn't show tumor.  what could it be?

Abnormal hormones: It is unusual to see hi prolactin and high cortisol simultaneously since one does not affect other and they come from different ce lines abnormal hormones signify abnormal function and maybe not accompanied by a structural abnormality which is the basis for cat scan check with doctors if levels are significantly abnormal a nd food to resoloution.

Pain in arm or neck: Not likely to get pain in the arm or neck from a brain tumor without having signs of brain stem dysfunction.  There are other conditions that need to be considered. Chiari malformation can produce tingling in neck and shoulders with headaches. You might have a couple of unrelated problems producing a confusing clinical picture. (separate neck and ear problem). A good examination might be in order.

Fat metab affects: The liver is a vital organ ("You can't live without a liver!"); it helps burn fat efficiently. When fat deposits in the liver, fat is burned less efficiently, &amp; it is harder to lose fat/weight. Very often people with fatty liver have slower metabolic rates &amp; insulin resistance which also make it harder to lose. Base your diet on vegetables, healthy protein and good fats: olive oil, nuts, oily fish

See doc: Unless one has had weight loss surgery, that amount of unexplained wgt loss in 7 mos is excessive and warrants an investigation by one's doc to make sure that one does not have a serious medical issue causing the wgt loss.  If one worked at wgt loss, but it continues despite not attempting to do so, that also warrants investigation by med. Doc.
