benadryl (diphenhydramine) is the only thing that helps my allergies at night. one tablet leaves me severely groggy in the morning though. but, is it safe?

Safe until AM: In the morning you must be careful if you have to drive anywhere. People on Benadryl (diphenhydramine) don't drive much better than people with a hangover or a mildly intoxicated state. Leave plenty of room between you and the car ahead of you and don't drive over the speed limit. Be safe.

i read that 5 htp helps with bruxism.  true?  safe?  would facial massage help.   jaw and ear pain.  only thing that helps is nightly benadryl (diphenhydramine).

See a dentist: Go see a dentist and stop premedicating yourself.  
5-htp is possibly unsafe for use. There is concern that it can cause a serious side effect called eosinophilia myalgia syndrome. Some people think this side effect is only caused by a contaminant in some 5-htp products; but there is not enough scientific evidence to know if it is caused by 5-htp, a contaminant, or some other factor.

how does hydrocodone cream works? how can my hubby be alergic to benadryl (diphenhydramine) but not hydrocodone? aren't they the same thing?

Totally different: Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is an antihistamine and hydrocodone is an analgesic. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) works for allergic diseases , hydrocodone works for certain pain.  However I believe you meant hydrocortisone cream which works for allergic skin lesions (contact dermatitis) since I am unaware of the availability of a hydrocodone cream.

See MD: Se your family md or allergist. Do it now. Though itching in itself is not life threatening, it may be the precursor for a more severe reaction. If it worsens or breathing problems arise go to er.

Unlikely that: benadryl (diphenhydramine) or statins are causing this, many of us dream but don't recall their dreams, probably the quality of your sleep is affecting your memories, if really concerned, check with a sleep medicine specialist

No problem: but do realize that the D in Claritin may raise your blood pressure and may not be good as a long-term medication.  Nasal steroid is usually more effective and safer in the long run.

Smoking is toxic: Toxic means unsafe, or really unsafe. The intentional habit of inhaling burning organic material, combined with various chemicals used in the growing and manufacturing of that material (regardless of whether it is tobacco, marijuana, or any other plant) is bad for the body. Just think about it. Who would intentionally start something burning and inhale the stuff over and over and over?
