Fungal infection: Be checked for a fungal infection. Sometimes a special light will show it but often you need cultures. All the best.

Yes: You can take these drugs together. Why not?  I do not see any drug- drug interactions among them.

Autoimmune disease?: How are the rest of your labs? Autoimmune diseases may present with your symptoms but these are frequently picked up on blood work abnormalities... Also, is your hair loss patchy with visible bald spots or diffuse? Any joint swelling or pain? Sensitivity to sunlight or cold?

Lots of reasons: Go see your family doc and even get a referral to a dermatologist specializing in hair loss. First, remember that stress can lead to hair loss. Child birth & hospitalization are classic causes of stress but so is surgery. Hair eventually comes back several months later. Thyroid disease can do this too. So can too much testosterone & its derivative, dihydrotestosterone. So get tested and see derm.

Should it be the very common androgenetic alopecia, known as male pattern baldness, he will provide you with possibly an oral med along with a topical otc med to help you. However, it just might be something different, and that is why you should be evaluated.
