Q: my amh (ferlity test). <0.16. does this mean that i am unable to have any eggs?

AMH test is not list: This test is not listed among those commonly used to test pregnancy- usually HCG or more accurately the beta-hcg- urine or serum.

Q: hubby test is normal i am policistic but eggs r normal by taking madications.my 6th year of marrege and unable to concive help?

Fertility: After years of trying an extensive work up is warranted. 3 tests needed: 1. Semen analysis 2. Ovulation blood test via a day 21 Progesterone 3. Hsg xray to make sure tubes are open. Any obgyn or fertility specialist can do this.

Q: wouldn't gastroperisis diagnosis need too be caused by something, i took gastric emptying egg test, and got diagnosed, what should i have checked out?

Treat Gastroparesis: Gastroparesis means slow-emptying stomach. Causes may be mechanical (obstruction, or the stomach outlet narrowed from healing of past inflammation, treated by endoscopic dilation), post-inflammatory (due to swelling of the stomach lining from ulcers, treated with acid blockers), or neurologic (as with diabetes, treated with rx that stimulates motility--domperidone, erythromycin, stomach pacemaker).

Q: i have been taking ovulation tests ttc, i am on the 5th day of testing positive for ovulation. what does this mean? the egg has yet to release? thanks

These: tests usually test positive at ovulation and may be positive for several days afterward...Its the FIRST POSITIVE that COUNTS! Hope this helps1 Dr Z

LH or progesterone: Sometimes the rise in the pituitary hormone lh (luteinizing hormone) is detected by a blood test to document whether ovulation will occur. This rise in lh usually happens 24-36 hours before ovulation. Alternatively, if a Progesterone hormone level is measured and is elevated it is presumptive evidence of ovulation as the ovary does not produce Progesterone unless the egg has been released.

Immunocap/allergist: There is a blood test  called immunocap that can test or you can see an allergist and be tested for  egg allergy specifically.

Genetic screening: Genetic testing such as cystic fibrosis, chromosomal analysis, fragile x, etc.  These studies are send out and take longer to get back.  These tests are a benefit to you and are being paid by the recipients.  You should petition your center to give you the results to these tests for your records.

my cholesterol levels are a bit above normal. i want to test whether eggs affect it. i want to eat 2 eggs a day for some days and then measure my cholesterol again. for how many days should i eat 2 eggs before measuring my cholesterol again? thanks?

: You would want to do it for at least a couple of weeks . You could eat the eggs daily for up to 4 weeks to be able to see if it makes a difference. Good luck!

Pregnancy test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctor's office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.
