Electricity: Batteries have electricity stored in them, and when you touch both tips with a wet, saliva coated tongue, you complete the circuit  and the electric current creates the sensation.

Irritation: most probably you involuntarily bite on your tongue and it is inflamed or you may have had a hot food which has burned your tongue. Need to look at your tongue to finalize the treatment.

Probably not. : Pineapple juice is highly acidic and depending on what you had for dinner this could have caused irritation to your mouth. Give it another try on a different day without eating anything before if the same thing happens then you might be allergic.

There : There are other issues that can cause this.  There is a thought that some vitamin and mineral deficiencies can cause mouth pain.  There is actually a condition called "burning mouth syndrome" that can cause these symptoms.  Be sure you are eating a healthy diet with and consider a vitamin supplement, but as this has been persistent it would be reasonable to have blood work and further medical evaluation.
