Accepted Answer

Certainly: Any type of head trauma could cause a concussion, but please note, by definition, a concussion is loss of consciousness, loss or memory or a combination of both.  Headache secondary to head impact does not qualify.  However, maybe your head pain could respond to therapy.  See your doctor.

Head trauma: Unlike that you suffered a concussion. If you develop a headache that doesn't resolve with acetaminophen or ibuprofen  or the dizziness worsens then see a doctor.

Tmj irritation: Could be muscular  or skeletal in origin.May have irritated your TMJ

Wait it out: A "goose egg" like this will resolve with time.  As long as you did not lose consciousness and do not have progressive neurologic dysfunction you will be fine.

Head hit: The real issue is was there a loss of consciousness? also if this is just one episode of nausea - its not a problem. Is there any vision changes? Are there any headaches? Are you taking anything that makes you prone to bleeding?

Head ache: This can certainly be common with even mild head injuries, but caution needs to be taken.  Depending on the extent of the force of her injury, she could have a subdural hematoma (SDH) which is serious and would need emergent treatment to prevent serious consequences, so,...the long and short of it is, without an exam, over the computer, a headache post a traumatic head injury needs to be seen.

Not surprising: It's not too late to use ice to reduce swelling and inflammation, so go ahead. Should be beneficial for the first 3-4 days. Otherwise, no worries. Good luck

Talk to your doctor : This could be a hypnopompic hallucination. This is an auditory hallucination upon awakening. This is in contrast to a hypnagogic hallucination which occurs when falling asleep. Both are quite common and may occur in people with narcolepsy, depression or anxiety.  Please note that these may also occur in people with no psychopathology.

i stuck my head into an electric smoker right after opening the door and inhaled a lot of the smoke for a few seconds while i was making food. is this dangerous?

Irritation : Local airway irritation may occur and if you have persistent respiratory symptoms such as cough,wheezing or sputum production, please se your physician.
