Depends : On symptoms, amount of inflammation, ulcer history, risk for stomach cancer and other factors. If multiple courses of different treatment regimens have failed, then we often just monitor and follow closely, treat symptomatically.

: Often people make their gastritis worse by their daily habits 
Avoid spicy foods, chocolate, mint, carbonated drinks, coffee. Stop smoking and drinking alcohol. Lose weight if you are overweight with a large abdomen. Don't eat for at least 3 hours before bedtime. You may need to avoid vitamins or/and dairy depending on the medications you are taking.  Ask about sleep apnea, celiac disease.

Yes, : Yes, h pylori can be transmitted quite easily from one person to another, although in modern, sanitary conditions, that transmission is much less common than it used to be.

I am sorry that the gastritis is bothering you.  If you haven't talk to a gastroenterologist, you should.  Certain food like citrius/tomatoes/caffeine can all trigger your symptoms.

H. pylori & ulcers: An estimated 2/3 of people have h. Pylori bacteria, but most of them never have any symptoms. However, h. Pylori is a major cause of peptic ulcers (>90% of duodenal ulcers, an estimated 60% of gastric ulcers). Nobody knows why some people with h. Pylori get ulcers but others don't.

Wrong kind: ALL women have bacteria in their vAginas.  Usually they are of a good kind, and this is quite healthy.  However, it is possible for the wrong kind of bacteria to get in there and cause discharge or smell or itching.  There are also other things like yeast that can cause infection.
You should see a clinic and get a diagnosis and a treatment.  
Meanwhile, eat lots of yogurt. And use condoms, always!
