how long do i need to wait to drink milk after taking cipro? also, how long do i need to wait before taking the med after drinking milk?

2 hours: It is recommended that a 2 h gap should be allowed in between dairy products and Cipro as they may interfere with its absorption.

can milk of magnesia make you pee a lot too? i took it one day for consipation. it helped but been peeing more. i had a recent urinalysis which was clear. i did have uti. i did drink quite bit of tea with water too while on mom?

: MOM by itself has a negligible effect on urine output. The additional fluid intake in the form of tea/water  would trigger more urine output.

See below: Panty liners probably do not cause uti.  Hygiene is important in prevention of infection, but so ong as you change the liners when they get wet, you will probably be in the clear.

UTI symptoms: One of the classic symptoms of a urinary infection is an abnormal or 'bad' smell. Other symptoms can include a change in the urine color (darker and/or cloudy) and difficulty or pain with urination. There's a whole spectrum of symptoms and catching the disease early is a key before other symptoms develop or progress. I would definitely schedule a visit with your primary MD to get a urinalysis.

It should be OK: As well as using water with peroxide. Don't do it frequently to avoid irritation or destroying the normal bacteria in your vaginal tract. Take care!

It sure can: The symptoms of urinary tract infection include frequency (going a lot), urgency (needing to go right now, and sometimes leaking) and burning. Sometimes there is a foul odor to the urine as well. If left untreated, utis can turn into kidney infections and worse. You should go see your doc to be properly evaluated and treated for this.

You need to see: A urogynecologist or a urologist as there is a good chance you have a condition called interstitial cystitis which is not an infection but an irritation of the bladder wall that requires specific medicine.

Not likely: Antibiotics used to treat UTI can predispose to secondary yeast infections vaginally, but the UTI itself does not do this.

Yes: Yes, but the headache may be from the fever more than the UTI itself.
