Might stir things up: Start w clear liquid like water,  slightly flattened soda that is clear, or sports hydration drinks. Sip, sip, sip. Work up to solids w bland foods like bananas, rice, applesauce, toast, gelatin, or chicken. Avoid alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, dairy &amp; high fat foods. Rest.

ate a bad string cheese 2 days ago & have food poisoning. worse today. should i avoid hurling or let it happen and get whatever it is out? hydrating.

Just let it happen.: Just let whatever happens happens.  You're not going to feel well for maybe a couple more days, but don't make yourself vomit as (a) it won't help and (b) you can give yourself a tear in your esophagus, which of course would not be good.

i had 1 bite of some meaty marinara pasta i thought smelled weird and it tasted bad. it was freshly cooked today. can i get food poisoning from 1 bite?

Depends: It would depend on the organism or chemical involved that may cause food poisoning. From what you described, you are unlikely to get food poisoning.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

i think i may have eaten spoiled steak . how long would it take for symptoms of food poisoning to show ? im nervous. im not sure it was bad but it realized that it may have tasted a bit different. i ordered it from a restaurant?

Fluids: Drink plenty of fluids to flush the system. If you do get food poisoning symptoms (usually within a few hours) homeopathic arsenicum is awesome for helping alleviate symptoms.

Most food poisoning isn't very serious, so it's safe to sit tight and wait for symptoms.

Not food poisoning: Dried foods like wasabi peas are an unlikely cause of food poisoning, and "flu-ish" symptoms don't suggest it. The main symptoms of food poisoning are gastrointestinal -- nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. And food poison symptoms generally clear up on their own within 1-2 days. Almost certainly your symptoms have nothing to do with the wasabi peas. See a doctor if they continue or become severe.
