Plan: It almost impossible to tell the real cause not seeing this spot on your head. But.. If it's getting better, it's good. You can continue to observe yourself, and if this symptom subside, most likely no needs to worry. If not, you have to go to a doctor.

Symptoms of IIS: can include blurred vision, diplopia, positional headache, ringing in ears, visual loss. The Diamox (acetazolamide) should help lower the CSF pressure. Let your neurologist know you have these additional symptoms so he can bring you in for another assessment.

See a Diagnostician: Your variety of symptoms suggests that you need a comprehensive evaluation. I would see an internist or other primary care doctor to get to the source of your many problems. Also, many somatic (body) complaints can be caused by underlying stress and anxiety, so you should look into that as well.

i have had a cold for a week. today i have been coughing a lot; now have a headache and also hurts a lot on the back, right side of my head and hurts worse with every cough attack. is this normal?

Unclear: It would be unusual for a concussion 7 months ago to cause superficial scalp pain as you describe. It may be a paresthesia from the cervical nerves which is the area of distribution you refer to. I recommend seeing your physician for further evaluation.

i have iih. leaning forward when liquid suddenly came from right nostril. the back/right side of head and ear hurts. can't breath through r. nostril.

Unsure: what caused the liquid you describe.  Have you been told you have an encephalocele in addition to IIH?  If not, it does not seem plausible for the liquid to be CSF.  You may have a sinus infection, ear infection and or mastoiditis causing your pain.  While it is probably unrelated to IIH, you should be checked as mastoid pain suggests a more serious infection. (back right side of head).

The cervical spine (bones in the neck)  connect to the skull (the boney housing for the brain).  A number of muscles are in this area.  Strain or damage to these, could lead to pain.  Some people tense the muscles in their neck and / or shoulders when they feel stressed which can also lead to pain at the back of the head.
