Have a warm drink: Take a warm drink that would loosen the gum if it still there and take it down with it. Swallowing chewing gum, while not recommended, is not likely to cause any harm.

: It is unlikely that you got HIV from what you described. For your peace of mind get a 4th gen combo test for HIV and a negative result will rule out HIV from that encounter.

Ice pack: Apply ice pack to the affected area and try Motrin to reduce pain.  If the pain persist,  then see your doctor.   Good luck !

Quite likely, you need to have your tonsils taken out to relieve obstructive apnea to avoid of developing pulmonary hypertension.  Your allergy issue can be curtailed by using daily fluticasone (Flonase) nasal spray along with daily long acting antihistamine, e.g., cetirizine (Zyrtec).
