See an eye doctor: The most common cause of pain on eye movement is atypical headache, which is often relieved with Ibuprofen or aspirin. Less common, but more concerning, is a condition called retrobulbar optic neuritis, which typically affects women in their 40s, and is often associated with vision changes as well. I strongly recommend you see an eye doctor as soon as possible to rule this out.

Can be sinus infecti: Eye irritation can be from drying out of tear film or sinus infection (pressure around eye or bacteria/virus backflowing into tear film). See eyeMD to see cause.

for the past week i have been extremely tired. i would go to bed at 11:30 and wake up around 5. i've noticed that my double vision and astigmatism had worsen. also the back of my eyes tend to hurt a little, like headache. will it stay like this?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

If you are in that n: much pain, you need to go to the EMC room for management so they can identify what's causing the pain, and relieve it. Don't delay. There's not enough info in your question to help out &amp; time is of the essence. Make sure to have some one drive you or contact paramedics. What you have could be nothing more acute back pain or something completely different.Having someone with you will be reassuring.

Many possible causes: Tobradex (tobramycin 0.3% and dexamethasone 0.1%) is prescribed for a wide spectrum of bacterial eye infections. If this is helping we can assume that the infection has caused these symptoms. If not, it may be due to other causes: dry eye syndrome, scleritis, glaucoma, optic neuritis, cluster headaches, etc. Talk to your eye Dr (opthalmologist) for follow up

Fever?: If so, go to the hospital. Sinus infections may produce bacteria in the blood, and constellation of symptoms that resemble yours.  You do need to be evaluated by your doctor.
