Another possibility is allergy to the diaper; try changing brands.

These are more complicated to diagnose & treat--requiring  your doctor's help. Baby wipes can produce rashes as well.

: I don't believe Calmoseptine is recommended for use in babies.  Plain zinc oxide ointment (the #1 ingredient in Calmoseptine) should work just as well or better.

: The rash may be related to a yeast infection and a medication called Nystatin is then recommended. Avoid use of harsh soaps, keep area clean and dry and diaper open to air if possible. A contact rash is another possible cause, and ensure frequent diaper changes and a high quality diaper.
