If not, she's overdue, and she should see a pediatric dental specialist, a Pedodontist, now. Also. call her Pediatrician. Pain. can be from gas, dehydration, constipation, virus, etc. But most common cause is teething, so start with Pedodontist.

Sounds : Sounds like a blocked tear duct.  These generally resolve spontaneously and need to be addressed if it does not resolve after year 1.  Seeing, your pedeatrician or ophthalmologist can provide you with guidance and reassurance and follow up care as necessary.

Great question!: If i knew the answer to this, i would still have most of my hair! each baby is different with each own temperament. There is no cookbook best way approach to this. Best you can do is make sure the diaper is dry, the baby is fed, the temperature is comfortable and let it be.  Sometimes, babies just cry for no reasons...I will retapp this to get other opinions. Too young for crying: A 2-month-old baby is still too young to be left crying. Parents should still do all the things they need to do to console the young baby. They should be sure the baby is not too hungry, not too full, not too cold, not too hot, not sick, not wrapped too tightly, and not too lonely. After the baby turns 3 months, parents can start stricter "bedtime" routines, as by then, most babies can be trained.

Find the reason : Babie cry for a number of reasons: hungry, wet, tired. All the time though  sounds more like a digestive problem (colicky). If breastfeeding- stop all dairy. It can cause allergies and gas and belly pain. If bottle feeding consider going to a formula like nutramigen or alimentum. Add probiotics 1/8 tsp twice a day. Talk to your doctor too for other ideas.
