No: There is no real evidence that "carrying low" is associated with the male sex.

27weeks carrying low baby is breech and extremely uncomfortable .baby is below my belly button . should i be worried?

Butt down ok now: "breech" position at 27 weeks is not concerning---baby can be in any prosition at this time--likely will turn near birth time.
Regarding being low and uncomfortable....You may try maternity belt which may help a bit. Avoid tight clothing. Lay on you side to rest when you can. If these measures don't help, consult your doc for further eval.

i'm 25 weeks pregnant and have been carrying the baby very low throughout pregnancy. is this normal?

Yes: Every pregnancy and every body is different.  Especially in the first half of pregnancy, you would expect that the enlarging uterus will be "low" on your abdomen.  As the pregnancy progresses the fundus (top of uterus) becomes palpable higher above the belly button.  This is actually one of the things your doctor will measure when you go in for exams to make sure the baby is growing as expected

how can you tell if your having a boy or a girl.by the way your carrying or it or by the way the other babies inter act with the fetus?

Accepted Answer

Neither.: It doesn't matter how you are carrying the baby, whether s/he kicks, whether a gold ring dangling from a chain goes back and forth or around in circles, or any other old wives tale.  Each pregnancy you have exactly a 50:50 chance of getting one or the other gender.  Sex can be determined by ultrasound or amniocentesis (some of the amniotic flood is take with a needle and tested).

5'4 and 115 pds, thin frame size 2, just found out i'm having twins. will i have a problem carrying babies to term? chances of babies born small?

Maternal age: It is really important to choose an Obgyn and begin your prenatal care. All twin pregnancies are high risk. Your age of 39 also makes the pregnancy high risk. Your small stature is not likely to be an issue increasing risk but of course each case needs to be managed individually

Incompetent cervix: It seems like she has a confirmed incompetent cervix and that a cerclage will be needed for future pregnancies. An 8 week miscarriage is not related to a 20 weeks loss. The mechanisms of pregnancy loss are quite different.

i noticed sudden rash on my sides spreading up my upper arms. no changes detergent. was carrying infant b4 noticed. rash is painful and itchy and warm?

Superficial injury: With both sudden onset (since yesterday) and associated with the colors often found with a superficial bruise, it sounds more like a small hematoma.  You don't describe how you are carrying babies, but usually this would be across ones chest, hence a likely cause.  If this does not resolve in a week or so, it would be good to get it checked out to relieve your concern.

Hip Development: The big issue with breech babies is they can at higher risk for developmental dysplasia of the hip. (ddh) your pediatrician will just need to do a hip exam at well child follow ups to screen.  Because female infants with a positive family history of ddh and females born in breech presentation have the highest risks of ddh, imaging with an ultrasound or radiography is recommended for these infants.

does molasses carry the same infant botulism risk as honey? i'm scared for my husband and i to eat food with it around our 3 month old.

Botulism: Botulism poisoning in infants has been caused by contaminated honey, molasses, and Caro syrup. Best to avoid these in your infant's diet.
