Depends: Depends on why you take aspirin.  Women do not get the same benefit as men for primary prevention of heart disease, so ask your doctor if you really need baby aspirin.  If you do need it, you can take it with BP meds.

Y would U want to?: Baby Aspirin helps prevent clots (thus heart attacks and ischemic (clot-related) type strokes. Unfortunately, by the same token, it increases with risk of bleeding including hemorrhagic (bleeding-type) strokes. No study i'm familiar with has shown benefit for Aspirin for anyone under the age of 50. Even 40 year old men showed no benefit for primary prevention. (people without disease).

Doesn't seem right: Amlodipine lowers blood pressure. It shouldn't make it rise. Plenty of people take aspirin and amlodipine in combination.

First : First let me address the fact that you have not had an exam in many years. You need a physical exam and routine screening (pap, mammogram, bone density testing, colon cancer screening etc.). As far is the Aspirin is concerned. It is good for heart health however it can cause bleeding and worsen some conditions (i.e.Ulcers). You should start to wean off now and ask your doctor if it is recommended to continue. Start taking one every other day for a few weeks then down to twice a week, by then you can be advised by your doctor on how you should proceed.

Tinnitus: This could be due to wax in the ear canal or early inflammation of the ear drum. However it could be onset of permanent tinnitus which emanates from the inner ear. If symptoms persist get examined by your physician or an Otolaryngologist.

Aspirin: The latest data support that there is no indication and can cause more harm, if aspirin is taken for what we call "primary prevention". Primary prevention is if one is taking aspirin to prevent a cardiovascular event and does not have a previous cardiovascular event.

Recent: Recent studies have shown with no history of heart issues taking baby asprin a day did not prevent a first heart attack.However for 30 plus years some research shows does decrease colon cancer.See primary and discuss risk of aspein vs benefit to come to decisions.p
