Possible labor: If you are having those "cramps" or better say contractions very frequently( especially every 5-10 mins) it is time to get checked for progression. We cannot determine with certainty exactly at what point you will be in active labor since this varies from person to person. If you are having pain as often mentioned call your OB provider.

how long is an infant protected from the flu shot given to a pregnant woman in the 3rd trimester? i got the 4 virus version.

Hard to be sure: The antibodies built during pregnancy are pushed into baby at a level higher per pound than mom retains. That said, all such antibodies begin to age out and become less effective with time. By 3-6 mo there is little if any left. Since there are always a few more flu strains circulating than the ones they can put in the vaccine, it is important to avoid exposure as the primary form of prevention

my baby is 11weeks and is only 11 lbs . i had her at 37 weeks why is she not gaining weight?

??not gaining??: A baby girl born at an average weight at 37 wks is actually at average weight at 11wks if she weighs 11lb. The best way to come up with good growth expectations for your baby is to have regular followup with your pcp and have growth parameters plotted on a growth chart at each visit. If the plotted features show  that growth is slowing, proper testing can be done.

An ounce per day: I usually expect about 1 ounce per day, or about a half pound per week, of fetal weight gain in the last month of pregnancy.

Mouse in the house!!: Risks are very low unless mouse contaminates food.  Wear gloves to clean up droppings. Disinfect areas. Disinfect counters. Clean spills right away.

Yes: It is common to experience fairly frequent movement of the fetus at that point in the pregnancy.

: Prenatal assessments have a degree of error that is acceptable, being off by as much as  2 weeks on measurements is usually considered acceptable
