Normal growth: That depends upon how much your baby weighed at birth. You can figure 11/2 -2pounds for the first couple of months . Babies will grow 4 inches during his first trimester.

10 week old baby length and weight both 85th percentile. head circumference 95th percentile. does this mean he has a big head in proportion to body?

Not really: I don't consider that difference worth anything more than noting. Big babies are big all over and this falls within the normal variation of such measurements. If the kid was 50% weight/length and 95% head, I would just measure the parents head to see where baby inherited it from. There are other issues to consider with a big head, but not from the reported info.

we have a 10 week old baby who does not sleep much. she sleeps 2,5 hours in the day, consisting of three to five 30 min naps. putting her to sleep takes from 7pm to often 10pm. how do i get her to rest/sleep more? she also wakes up every 2 hours.

Sleep!: At 10 weeks old a baby can learn to sleep up to 6 hours at night. Put your baby on a routine. Every 3 hours during the day, feed your baby, whether they ask first or not. Then play for up to 45 minutes. Then put them down in their crib for nap. At 10/11pm start the last cycle with feeding, playing then sleep. If they wake up place a hand on them but don't pick them up. Let them learn to self sooth

Depends: Your baby's weight and history if isst eating progression determine that answer. Hopefully at 10 months there are some significant solid foods that make up most of the diet now. Sit down with your doctor and talk nutrition, it's their job !

Most comfortable: Babies often have a preference with their head positioning. This relates to the position they were inside mommy during pregnancy. Most will go away as they grow older, but there is one reason called torticollis which may require some attention. Ask your pediatrician if your baby may have this problem. Torticollis can be dealt with usually with exercise of the neck.

M.D. visit: A baby's stomach is small - if the baby is throwing up milk, there are many possibilities. Infections can occur and it is important to check his temperature and to call your pediatrician. A condition called pyloric stenosis may cause vomiting. Smaller feeds more frequently will allow the stomach to empty. Breast milk is the best, but if you are using commercial formula, one that is easily digested.
