Totally safe: Unscented oatmeal extract-containing products such as Aveeno are safe for the vulvar area after shaving. You may also consider trying a better razor in order to avoid having to chafe the skin as much when you shave. Waxing or electrolysis are also safe options to avoid the skin damage caused by repetitive shaving.

hi sir ,i am having green discharge plus itching vagina from past 20 days.doctor prescribed one can tablet and try cream.still it itches at night ?

Exam?: Did you see your doctor in person and have swabs taken for diagnosis of the discharge?  This could be about 5 different infections, that require different treatments.  However, if you did receive the correct treatment, and it was only a day or 2 ago, it can take a few days for the symptoms to totally resolve.  Get seen again if you are not improved by day 3-4 of treatment.

hi i have looks like cuts on my upper vagina sore looks cracked put cream on and vaseline doesn't seem to help as it itches also could this be shaving?

Possibly: Possibly a herpes simplex infection, as blisters can form into small crack-like lesions. If it is in the area that you shave - then it may be related to shaving the skin.  Without a one on one evaluation - am not able to provide accurate dx.

i think i have yeast infection. i don't know what to do. my choices are going to the doctor or buying some cream. what should i do? my vagina itches and it's begining to swell up. i had it for about 3 days.

If : If a patient has a yeast infection, then it usually has white or cheesy discharge, the vagina appears to have white dots/spots on it, and it is very itchy.  There are over the counter treatments available for treatment; either suppositories or cream can safely treat a yeast infection.  If the patient has any concern about sexually-transmitted infections causing infection, these infections usually have yellow or green discharge, and the patient often has pain and fever, then the patient must have a medical evaluation.

To prevent yeast infections, use cotton underwear only (not nylon), avoid hot baths, and decrease sugary drinks/snacks in the diet.

Chemical diaper rash: Applying a barrier (ointments such as a ; d, desitin (zinc oxide diaper cream) or vaseline, aveeno) to supplement the skin’s natural protections can help. Rinse the area or have her sit in a tub of tepid water and baking soda to speed healing. Air out the area. Do not wipe since this creates more friction and excoriation of the delicate skin of her genitals. If no improvement over 5-7 days-see your pediatrician.

Not suggested: The cream is for dry conditions like eczema.
At your age you would more likely have falling estrogen and / or an infection.

Yeast infection: it appears you have a yeast infection. you may need a stronger anti fungal medication

Yeast?: An itchy vaginal rash is usually a yeast infection.  You can try treating it with an over-the-couner anti-yeast medication such as Monostat.  Keep the area dry.  If this doesn't solve the problem, you will need an exam as there are other less common causes.  Best wishes!
