Itching, anxiety: Atarax (hydroxyzine, also sold as vistiril) is a sedating antihistamine.  In addition to relieving anxiety, it can also help allergic itching, nausea, & motion sickness. MixingMedsDangers: You should always consult with your physician before mixing medications.  Ambroxol is not available in the US so I can't comment on how it interacts with Hydroxyzine but as I said above - always talk with your physician or even the pharmacist before using multiple medications especially in children!
