4-6 months: A baby can safely be put in a baby swing when he or she has good head control.  Usually this is the same age that a baby can be put in an exersaucer or high chair: for most babies, this is between 4-6 months.  If you think your baby is ready, try it, and start off slow.  If he/she maintains good head control, you're all set.  If they seem a little unsteady, maybe try again in a week or two.

At 9-10 month age: Normally babies start putting feet in mouth by 9-10 months of age . Better not to use shoes at very early age , it may hurt the baby .

Recognition: At 1 week of age a baby will turn towards the sound of a mothers voice, at 1 month he will smile at a face that is smiling at him, at 4 months a baby will get excited when his mom approaches, and by 1 year many babies will say 'ball' or 'dog' when they see one. If you talk to your child a lot and tell them what things are, they will recognize them sooner.

Never: This looks primarily to be a vitamin drop to me.   Babies do need 400 IU of vitamin D daily.  Other than this, your breastmilk and formula ( assuming it is adequately DHA supplemented using optimal global DHA levels) contains all the vitamins and nutrients your baby needs to grow. If you are breastfeeding, then three times a week seafood is optimal for DHA secretion into milk.

Depending : On size of your baby. Babies that are smaller can use it longer while babies that are much  much bigger will only enjoy it for a very short period of time. Personally I do not recommend buying one.Some babies do not like it.You can calm your baby in other ways.
