can chronic sinusitis cause asthma and/or depression? if yes, how?

Perhaps not cause,: But... Chronic sinusitis, especially w/ post nasal drip and strained breathing can tire and irritate your entire respiratory system. Prolonged irritation in a person w/ overactive immune responses can build up mucus and lots of histamine leading to wheezing, etc. Depression seems more likely to be reactive than part of neurotransmitter imbalances. But it still feels bad. Try a health psychologist.

Asthma attack: You likely have some type of upper respiratory infection and this is causing your asthma to worsen. Common for cold air and allergens such as smoke to worsen.  Treatment would typically involve albuterol and prednisone with treatment with antibiotic if needed.

Foot pain: Your mom may have a form of nerve damage, especially if she is diabetic or has had chemo.  Please start w/a visit to your family doctor.  He/she may refer you to a foot doctor.  Peace and good health.

See doctor: Although bruises may occur with aging skin (from cumulative sun exposure, smoking etc), she needs to see her doctor to get tested. For example, she may have a bleeding disorder which is potentially life-threatening. At the minimum, her platelet count needs be studied.

Evaluation: You should have yourself checked out by your physician.  Both asthma and panic attacks can be frightening and dangerous.  Your life will get better if you resolve this issue.

is there a leukotriene other than singulair that will not interact badly with maoi (parnate)? i need leukotriene for my asthma. i take maoi (parnate) for chronic depression. recently became unemployed - no more health insurance. ca no longer afford singul

Unfortunately, : Unfortunately, because of patents, the only leukotriene inhibitors available on the market are singulair, (montelukast) Accolate and zyflo and singulair's the cheapest one of the bunch - and it's not cheap!  i know so many people in your situation.  Talk to your doctor about having a difficult time being able to afford your medication.  Your doctor may have samples or coupons to offer you.  Some drug companies even have special programs which offer medication discounts to people without insurance.  It doesn't hurt to ask!  good luck!

Many possibilities: There could be many possibilites, from infection to fever to an inflammatory condition such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis.  The best answer is to see your primary care and discuss your concerns with her or him.
