Counseling: I would see a good psychologist first.  Medication is not a panacea for all things.  A trained psychologist will be able to sort out possible causes and recommend therapies which may, or may not include medication.  I would pursue this asap.

i m taking taltz for controlling my psoriasis problem.  i have a feeling that the effectiveness of the medication is starting to drop after one year as i m seeing that i have some flare for my psoriasis on my scalp.  is my assumption correct?

Talk to your doctor: Although drug tolerance can develop to many drugs in some cases, it may also be from the increasing severity of your illness. Best to consult your doctor.

Consult doctor: If weight loss, dietary modification, and the usual medications failed, insulin is usually indicated. However you will need to consult your doctor to see if it is needed and what the dose should be.

Stop it: You should not have been given the stuff In the first place. Lab reference ranges are set so that a few percent of healthies fall outside on either end. These values fluctuate. A slightly high value is no danger, just something for which, if persistent, an explanation should be sought.

Lipids: The rebound of cholesterol level after stopping meds will vary depending on diet and exercise and other factors, can't make uniform prediction.

Diabetes: Well, glycomet 250 mg is definitely a very low dose. I start patients on 500 mg twice daily x 1-2 weeks to make sure they tolerate it and if their diabetes is poorly controlled, i quickly bump it up to 1000 mg twice daily if tolerable. Make sure to take it with food. Also, you may need another medication on top of it. Metformin doesn't affect kidney but is not indicated in low kidney function.

dp4inhibiters like saxagliptine, sitaglipin, linaglipitin
injectables
amylin mimetics(symlin)
incretin mimetics like byeta, victoza, (liraglutide) bydurion
insulin
here you have it.

my uric acid level is 8. i also have psoriasis. how can i control it without medication?

Uris acid: elevation may , in fact, be due to your skln problem!
Control the skin and the uric acid may normalize!!!

To control Psoriasis without medication often sunlight will help....and light therapy is also used

Suggest you consult with a Board Certified Dermatologist!!!
