No unifying factor: There is no one origin for these separate issues. Knock knees is a natural finding in infants that usually self corrects with age unless sitting/sleeping patterns prevent it. SCFE are more common in heavy children whose weight places them at higher risk. Meniscal tears are triggered by events/trauma. The true origin of JIA is unknown but may have be influenced by genetics as well as environment.

Depends on type: Certain arthritis such as RA are consider genetics, however, degenerative joint disease, or common arthritis is use/over use of joints.

Both: The cause of autoimmune type arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis is unknown  but may occur when certain factors in the environment trigger the activation of the immune system to inappropriately attack the body's own tissues. There may be some genetic predisposition. Repetitive trauma, instability of joints, and fractures can lead to "wear and tear" osteoarthritis or post-traumatic arthritis.

JRA: Yes, unfortunately there is. The most common systemic inflammatory arthritis that affects young people is called juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, or jra for short.

That is not a high: dose of prednisone or naproxen. You'll need to discuss this with your doctor with your history of thyroid cancer, and thyroidectomy. It may affect your muscles, and bone and your Vitamin D3 levels and other lab values not mentioned may be more important to determine systemic causes.

Yes!: While lupus is not  uncommon, psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis or quite common!  I have patients with both.

Maybe: The multi drug resistant gene has been mostly studied in oncology. There is a report that it may be a factor in resistance to sulfasalazine which in used in some RA cases, but though promising no definitive research has yet been done but it`s being worked on.

Unfortunately...: Yes, osteoarthritis (due to wear-and-tear of the affected area) gets worse with the progression of time. As we age, our ability to repair damage lessens, and the progressive damage to the joint continues. At younger ages, old injuries can accelerate the process.

in the future perhaps a better genetic understanding may help nad i would hole out some hope for autogenous stem cell rx.
