Time to visit doc: You are describing symptoms consistent with many illnesses from diabetes, addisons disease, cushings syndrome, seborrhea, alopecia, etc.  You are to young for any of your symptoms to be taken lightly and all are pointing to metabolic imbalance.  You need to get a complete physical, appropriate labs,and your Doc will be able to begin to address your symptoms and treat you.

Can&#x27;t tell. : Could be as simple as a blocked sweat gland but could potentially be a tumor so have it checked asap.

cause of corkscrew hairs other than scurvy? i take vitamin c supplements daily. is it possible to be vitamin c deficient on supplements? if not, what else could cause this on legs. i can pull of hair on legs, have hair loss on head and arm petechiae?

: Occasional mis-shaped hairs are not necessarily abnormal. With anything approaching a normal diet, it is difficult if not impossible to be deficient in vitamin C; and if you are, it is exceedingly unlikely while taking supplements. This sort of thing needs in-person care and advice:  discuss with your GP or other primary care provider. Good luck.

can that cause increased anxiety, all over itching/dry skin, weakness, fatigue, a arm rash, hair loss& breakage, increased body aches & mild cramp, trouble swallowing &intermittent air hunger?

Could be a : flare up of a known or previously undiagnosed, auto immune disease, such as systemic lupus. A visit with your doctor for an exam and testing is very appropriate.

suddenly, my armpit hair and leg hair is growing in very patchy. like, bald spots. but all of my thyroid bloodwork came back normal. possible causes?

It depends/ nonspec.: This seems like a nonspecific sign.  It might depend on what products, if any, you might use to groom those areas.  For example, if waxing or heat grooming instruments are used, the roots might be removed and the hair may take real long to or may never grow back.  Stress might also be a reason, as might your gastroenteritis.  If it gets worse, see your doctor.  Good luck.

im 17 years old and am losing hair in the temples of my head. its getting pretty far back on the right side. i work out heavily and eat very well. other than genetics i cant think of any reason id have this issue. how can i regrow or prevent loss?

See dermatologist: You need to properly diagnose  this hair loss. Should it be the very common androgenetic alopecia, known as male pattern baldness, he will provide you with possibly an oral med along with a topical otc med to help you. However, it just might be something different, and that is why you should be evaluated.

4m pp, thyroid levels normal, thyroid enlarged, u/s today. how long until normal pp hair loss and exhaustion level out? i am bf'ing

Could be months: Your hair is not lost, just breaking off. It should grow out normally, but may take several months since hair grows intermittently not continuously. Give it time, and avoid chemical treatments. Continue the iron to build your blood count back toward normal.

hair loss is getting worse, my hair looks horrible. its so dry and it gets so oily even after washing it sometimes that i could have my hair stand straight up. it feels like something crawling sometimes or itchy feeling. my scalp is very sensitive?

: If you have no scalp pathology, I find a skilled beautician is best to evaluate and advise you. If you have concerns about scalp health, consult a dermatologist for examination and advice.
