Fast: Studies show a rapid return to fertility. In clinical trials pregnancies were seen as early as 7 days after removal. For some it may take awhile longer to get back to ovulation.

Skin burn: You need to make sure the area is gently cleaned with soap/water daily then apply an antibiotic ointment on the entire burned area then a gauze wrap. The skin is a barrier to bacteria so the major risk with burns is infection & scarring. It's best to be evaluated by your doctor as soon as you can to determine the depth of the burn and appropriate treatment.

i have had them for over 4 years but they were not painful and they were not as big,

recently the nodules have grown and they are painful.

Lipoma: Lipomas are for the most part benign collections of fatty cells.   They tend to be superficial so they can be removed using local anesthesia and simple excision.   If they are small - it can be done in the office.  The doctor numbs the skin and then makes an incision down to the level of the lipoma and "shells it out - closure is usually with sutures (stiches) or staples.

See below : I’m glad to hear that your lymph nodes came back normal, you will experience swelling in the area since the lymphatic systems regulates inflammation amongst other things, please follow your physicians recommendations and go to your assigned follow ups.

i had my picc line removed this afternoon after having it for five days. my arm is achy. can i put heat or cold over the site?

You can: You could do that or some intermittent Acetaminophen (tylenol) for the discomfort.  However keep a watch to ensure no signs of a clot or infection- swelling or redness or warmth or immense difficulty moving the arm . Whenever possible keep arm elevated.

50% chance by 6mos: 6 months after removing a contraceptive device, an average of 50% of women will be able to get pregnant. This is very comparable to the success rate without ever having used contraception. The success rate is higher as more time passes by, so keep trying!

Nerve damage: It is possible that some nerves of brachial plexus had to be taken out with cancerous lymph nodes and you have symptoms of nerve pain. Medications can help.
