See below: Sharp pain in the shoulder with overhead activities may be due to shoulder bursitis, tendonitis, or arthritis.  Pain that radiates from your neck down your shoulder and/or arm may be due to a pinched nerve in the neck.  See your physician if your pain doesn't improve in 2 weeks.

Shoulder likely: Shoulder problems such as rotator cuff injury, arthritis, and subacromial bursitis can make use of the arm painful.  Heat, non steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, and range of motion exercises, and rotator cuff strengthening can at times help.  If persistent, see a hand or orthopedic surgeon who specializes in problems of the hand to shoulder.

Varies: There are a number of possible causes, I would not hesitate to be seen.  One of the more common causes is known as lateral epicondylitis which can cause lateral elbow pain but also pain in the wrist and forearm.  There are many good treatment options available.

Complex symptoms: The symptoms you describe can be caused by a variety of conditions.  Infection or inflammation of joints, tendons, nerves, or muscles can all cause pain and fever as described.  Infections include: septic arthritis, lyme disease, stis, some viral infections. Non-infectious can include inflammatory arthritis & vasculitis & injury.  A thorough medical evaluation is appropriate.

If the pain persists or gets worse with exertion, I would worry about heart condition. But the way you are describing that muscle movement helps, it could be musculoskeletal pain
