Q: i am a 22 year old female, i have come and go arm pain and sometimes chest pain. ive been to the doctors time and time again. they did blood work, ekg and i even had a stress test dont to. ive been told several times its just anxiety. could it be?

Orthopedics: Sounds like your direction of specialist care needs to be changed. Your symptoms are more in need of an Orthopedics or Neurology. All the chest pain cardiology stuff has been ruled out which is good. Bad is that you are young and have an arm which is giving you pain. See Orthopedics, they are great docs. Q: what can cause low blood pressure and arm pain?

Multiple cause: Low BP can be caused by blood loss, anemia, vasodilatation, drug reaction or allergy, anaphylactic shock, infection, sepsis. Not sure how to relate to arm pain.

See below: The needle is inserted inot a vein to get the sample and when it is withdrawn some hemorrhage may occur from the vein  if so this may casue some degree of discomfort or pain.

Probably due to ---: Leakage of blood around the nerves, causing irritation of the nerves, resulting in some discomfort and pain.
It should be getting better in a another 3-5 days time. If not get to see your pcp.

Hematoma: Well, it leaked again. An elastic  sleeve, carefully applied elastic bandage and some ice 20" as needed. Check your blood for bleeding tendencies.  I do not believe this is unusual. Speak to someone at the blood bank,

I would not worry: Donating blood is pretty harmless and should not cause any after effects. of course if you get worried and anxious, then you may feel weak etc. But sleep over it without any worry and I expect you to be fine by tomorrow morning!

See your doctor: Problems like these can only be correctly handled by your doctor in person.  He/she needs to listen to you, perform an examination and possibly run labs or other tests. That's the only way he/she can find out what's going on and what to do about it.

Not sure: Your age rules heavily against coronary disease although I have very rarely seen it in a young person. Do you have risk factors? More likely this is something more benign such as anxiety or pericarditis, but chest and left arm pain should never be ignored. See a doctor, get an ekg.

i had a ultrasound of my leg to rule out a blood clot but my left calf hurts daily even when resting. i have had an echo of my heart & sonogram. i have left arm pain, right temple pain & an ice cold stomach but a warm body. my chest burns. why?
