Yes: This could be from spread of the infection. It could be a reaction to the treatment you have had for the abscess. You need to discuss this with your physician.

Armpit Boil: Hydraadenitis suppurativa
Best is to use OTC Safeguard soap( Antibacterial ) and cleanse daily for two weeks
Also   Hibiclens Soap ( Chlorhexidine Gluconate Soap) .
If not better in three days  you need to go to your doctor for oral Antibiotic Therapy. (Minocin or Bactrim DS) for two weeks!

Staphylococcus aureus is usually the culprit!

Abscesses : Abscesses are the result of chronic bacterial infections in the dermis that rupture through the skin to release their infected contents (pus).  They are more frequently acquired in patients who have immune deficiencies such as hiv/aids, diabetes, cancers, other coexistent inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, are malnourishment.  They can be acquired from minor trauma to the skin such as squeezing a pimple, a retained splinter, or repeated body piercing , skin popping drugs and even from a clean hospital acquired iv.  One of the most notorious offenders is methicillin resistant staph aureus mrsa.  As the name applies this bacteria is resistant to most standard antibiotics and tends to colonize your skin, nasal cavity, groin and axilla.  If you have had to have multiple sessions of IV administered therapies it is likely you may be suffering from a chronic debilitating disease and you have been exposed to hospital or clinic environments where MRSA is frequently found.  You need to check with your physician about this specific problem and avoid any unsafe practices.

See below: You can soak it with hot salt water compresses until it comes to a head and drains spontaneously (do not squeeze it).  If it does not improve it might need to be lanced by a doctor.  Significant surrounding infection might need antibiotic treatment directed against staphylococcus aureus (mrsa and mssa) and streptococcus pyogenes.

Draining helps....: An abscess is an infection, something like a large pimple. Getting it to drain may help resolve the abscess. Your doctor may lance it; or it may drain on its own with the help of warm compresses. Resist the urge to squeeze it, or otherwise open it yourself. Antibiotics may be necessary.

i had endorcaridist back in june and july well i have another abscess on my arm am i at risk again?

You could be: Endocarditis is usually caused by a valve irregularity which allows bacteria in the blood to stick to the valve. Dental procedures and infections place you at risk. See a doctor so you can get placed on antibiotics. Hope this helps!

Surgical problem: An abscess needs to be drained.  Taking antibiotics isn't a long-term solution.  It will need either to be drained or excised (removed).  Ask your physician for a referral to a surgeon.  It's usually a simple outpatient procedure

Infection: Abscesses are usually caused by bacterial infections, so you will have signs/symptoms of inflammation (redness, warmth over area, possibly fever). You should see a dr so  they can drain & give you antibiotics if needed.
