Yes: We don't know all the factors that predispose people to sepsis syndrome or septic shock, but older (age >65), malnourished, immune compromised (but with some immune system in place) , diabetic patients, and possibly morbidly obese patients are more at risk.

Not Really: Unless you have a source that is not taken care of, ie abscess. If you have source control and completely eradicate the causative organism, you should not have recurrence of sepsis.

Yes: If the infection is not under control. If HIV is well treated and viral load undetectable, CD4 count normal, then the risk is less.

Can happen to all: Yes, severe infection/ sepsis can happen to everybody. 
However, in immunocompromised people i.e. On chronic steroids or other immunosupressive agents, conditions that decrease immune system i.e. Cancer patients-especially on chemotherapy , hiv/aids,  immunoglobulin deficiency etc- infection can become more severe and in a very rapid fashion sepsis can develop.

Yes: They are usually immunocompromised.
