dx with small hiatal hernia and gastritis.  does that make your tummy quiver, like anxiety shakes? or maybe my anxiety is just going to my gut?

Hiatal  hernia,gastr: Quivering of the abdominal wall is not characteristic of those conditions. Reflux(heartburn,belching) and upper abdominal discomfort, which may be a burning discomfort, are the common symptoms. Nausea may also occur.  Quivering is usually a manifestation of an irritable muscle or superficial nerve.

haven't been able to eat for a week due to gastritis. drank ensure shake today and plenty of fluids. now feel real tired and chest feels weird.

Emergency Room : You should go to the closest emergency room for evaluation and follow up with your primary care doctor this week. The emergency room can make sure that is not something serious. If you're unable to drive and you feel that it is a life-threatening emergency call 911.

i was diagnosed with acute gastritis. the nausea has since stopped but cant shake off diarrhoe. how long should it last? still taking antibiotics.

Since diarrhea: is not usually a symptom of the gastritis it could very well be due to the antibiotics...a simple "home remedy is YOGURT (PROBIOTICS) ...an attempt to replace some of the normal intestinal  "residents" Hope this is helpful

Maybe: No more effective than any other food that will neutralize the acid in your stomach (for a few hours).

NOT MORE THAN 2-3SER: Yes you can but limit diary products to not more than 2to3 serving per day, and preferably low fat diary products.

Why not avoid foods: ...that you have a demonstrated intolerance to. May also want to curtail use of artificial sweeteners, and consider the low FOD-MAP diet to find "intestinally-friendly" ingestants.

Mgt: Avoid milk products including cheese, drink fluids and monitor your temperature. If no change testing can be performed.

Gastritis: if you have gastritis then eating can be uncomfortable. Are you on treatment like PPI- prevecid or H2 blockers like ranitidine? Would also check for h pylori. You may also have a sensitivity to milk so would avoid milk products  for 1-2 weeks and see if improves. Avoid caffeine drinks, soda, energy drinks f/u w/ doc

could my gastritis be from milk intolerance or allergy? endoscopy showed gastritis and blunted villi in duodenum. no celiac though. must find cause.

Very Unlikely: You should consult with your doctor to look for other causes of gastritis.  Milk allergy/intolerance is very unlikely to cause gastritis
