Yes: Melasma is a common skin disorder, especially in women with darker skin tones.
It is associated with the female hormones, estrogen and Progesterone and is common in pregnant women, and in those taking birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy during menopause. Treatments are available but often the problem will resolve spontaneously after delivery or discontinuing hormone therapy.

: Acne is an inflammation of the sebaceous glands of the skin.  After any inflammation, the skin may change color just where the bumps and flare ups were.  This will take time to clear; using a drugstore acne cream may help clear faster but this will happen over weeks to months.  If you feel your skin is worse or the same, consult your prescribing physician.

BCP ?'s: Yaz is a low dose oral bcp, and requires punctuality to avoid breakthrough bleeding. The active pills should be taken within the hour of the previous day's active pill.  Stop if you have bleeding, wait five days, and start a new pack.  If bleeding continues , ask your gyn for a different brand.

Probably.: Microdermabrasion will often lighten up dark spots, depending on where they are on your skin, and what caused them. But i would strongly suggest that you find a dermatologist with an mda machine, and not go to some spa, where the person doing the mda has no idea what caused your dark spots, and may be treating you when you should not be treated.
