Several possibilitie: The chills are most commonly associated with high anxiety. When you have anxiety it sends hormones throughout the body and causes several changes at your skin level. Many people get goosebumps and their hair actually stands on end.

If you get chills it's an indication that you have taken a dangerously high dose & i would caution against taking high doses again. The best info i found show that the "half-life" is about an hour but this is for the yohimbine component & the chills are caused by other alkaloids with unknown half lives-but i expect it would last a few hours at most.
