Yes: Aquaphor is an excellent moisturizer that can be used by infants, children and adults. It is similar to vaseline, but is thicker. If you are allergic to wool you should not use it, since lanolin is in it.

Everything expires: Nothing lasts forever, but over-the-counter lotions and creams might not have a recommended expiration date stamped on the container.  Perhaps going to a store and looking at all the other creams to see what are typical expiration dates can help a person decide when to throw away the bioderm.  Of course, if the bioderm looks, smells, or feels different than when new, it's best to throw it out.

Yes: Tobramycin is an antibiotic that was prescribed to reduce the normal bacterial load of your eyelids and to reduce the inflammation that was present.  You can stop the antibiotic at anytime safely.  Tobradex (tobramycin and dexamethasone) is often prescribed for blepharitis and this includes a strong steroid component - this should not be used long term without close follow up with as it can cause an increase in eye pressure.
